The history of D Driver & Son Plant Hire
Founded in 1963 by David Driver with just one machine, our company began by serving local builders and farmers. David’s dedication to excellence helped establish strong relationships with agricultural suppliers, particularly in pipe installation for crop irrigation across Essex and Kent. Over time, the business steadily expanded, earning a reputation for dependable and high-quality service—a legacy we proudly uphold. After decades of hard work, David retired in 2008, entrusting us to carry on his commitment to reliability and excellence under the name D Driver & Son Plant Hire.
